From the 26th to the 29th of February 2020 Ukrainian manufacturers and distributors of furniture, components, accessories and equipment will meet their colleagues from European and other foreign countries, which are the leaders in furniture sector, at Kiev International Furniture Forum KIFF 2020, held in the International Exhibition Centre (15 Brovarskyi Avenue, Kyiv).

So, it is how the Aesthetic Space concept appeared. It will create space aesthetics by means of futuristic forms and inspire to perceive design as a universal tool for a person to find his/her identity among all variations of space infinity. Wood Systems and Kassone Studio got down to implementation of the creative idea of the Aesthetic Space’s supervisors. On February 27, a solemn ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of Best MEBEL UA contest will be held, as well as the awarding of laureates and winners of this year’s 20th contest. On this occasion, KIFF has rebranded its Best MEBEL UA pyramid. The updated award will be received not only by the winners of this year’s contest, but also by those who have been an essential part of the contest during the whole time of its existence, from 2000 to 2020, namely: participants, designers, suppliers of equipment, components and accessories involved in the creation of furniture masterpieces; those who have enjoyed the eternal love of consumers and visitors throughout the years.
Moreover, the results of All-Ukrainian Rating of Ukrainian Furniture Manufacturers will be summarized at the ceremony on February 27. The rating has been realized for the first time in Ukraine’s furniture history by KIFF 2020 in collaboration with Khmarochos media platform. Voting is running until and including February 26 and the winner is selected in each of 5 categories – “Table and chair”, “Living space”, “Kitchen”, “Upholstered furniture”, “Public space”. The purpose of the rating is not only to choose Ukrainians’ favourite furniture, but also to increase awareness of domestic furniture brands, to promote the Ukrainian product and to improve its competitiveness.
Fans of Ukrainian object design will have a chance to choose their bestsellers in Like of the Year contest, organized by KIFF 2020 and the Home Ideas Supply platform. Bestsellers of Home Ideas Supply are voted for. These products were extremely popular with Home Ideas Supply users in 2019. You can vote for items in 9 categories: table, chair, bed, armchair, bedside table, coffee table, bar stool, object of décor and lamp, on HIS.ua Facebook page. The winner will be announced at KIFF 2020.
KIFF’s landmark, Interium Interior Award, will bring together its favourites on February 28 to determine the winners. This year, more than 200 entries were submitted by over 70 designers and design studios. You can discover the works of the participants on the official page of the award and during the exhibition. The winners will be determined by a reputable jury, consisting of famous designers and architects Carlo Bimbi (Italy), Luca Valle (Italy), Cees Donkers (the Netherlands), Nicola Ticozzi (Italy), Sotirios Papadopoulos (Greece, Italy), Simone Micheli (Italy), German Volga (Ukraine), Vitalii Ivakhov (Ukraine) and others.
